Linda Findlay

Linda Findlay has created such a fun and comfortable atmosphere in her store that it has made our company one of the largest quilt and sewing machine stores in Canada. Linda will always greet you with such a warm and loving smile that you will be talking about her shop to everyone. Linda has been in the sewing machine business since 1992 and opened up the fabric division in 2001. Since bringing in her first 500 bolts of fabric, she has now built it to over 2500 bolts of the most amazing array of fabrics from Brights, Blendables, Batiks, Flannels, Seasonal, and Panels. Linda always has a great selection of pre-packaged kits available for everyone or if you would like one that we don't have she will put one together for you.  You will also see on her website that she has created different fat 1/4 quarter clubs that you can join including an Oriental club, Cotton Club and Flannel Club.

Linda Findlay has such a great eye for fabric that she has customers coming in daily to have her help them choose fabrics for their next quilt.

A few years back Linda's Quilting and Sewing classes were getting so busy that she had to expand here classroom to a 1200 sq.ft. brightly lit room that customers have now claimed as their club house. Come in today and meet Linda Findlay and see what the buzz is all about.

Kim Laloge

Kim has been a long time loyal customer and is now working full time with our team. Kim brings her talent as a quilter and as a long time embroidery to our store. Customers have so much to learn when they come in to talk to Kim. She answers customers questions daily on quilting techniques and help on doing embroidery. She gets such enjoyment on teaching customer. Kim is in the store way before opening getting the store organized before the first customer enters the store. It is such a pleasure working with such a talented person. You will see Kim in many of our "Quilt till you wilt" classes lending a hand. Rhonda Quigley

Rhonda joined Linda's Quilt Shoppe in 2009 to help Linda with her increase of traffic in the store. Rhonda has such a happy and easy going personality that she fit in with all staff and customers right away. Rhonda will help guide you through the store to help you find that right piece of fabric for your quilt, help you design your quilt or help you choose the right notion to make your project easier.

Her talents don't stop there. If you are looking for a new sewing machine let Rhonda walk you through our large selection of sewing machines, Quilting machines, Embroidery machines and sergers to help you find the one that is just for you. Darcy Findlay

Our son Darcy has developed an interest in the business and is now working with us. He is learning all aspect of the business from back room book work to servicing machines as well as becoming quit the salesman. The ladies are coming into the store when he is in for their weekly hugs. (all about customer service he says). We all hope that he becomes a third generation owner one day. He says that he would love to continue and advance a business that his grandfather started over 40 years ago. " I have a lot to learn and have some great idea's to bring the company to the next level.

Tina Schade

Tina started out as a customer then joined our team on a part time basis to now working full time. Tina has brought her merchandising skills to help organize our store and create amazing store displays. Tina has such a young and exciting attitude that will truly welcome you as you arrive to Linda's Quilt Shoppe. Just mention oriental fabrics to Tina and see her beam. Tina has a talent of visualizing colors together so let her take you through our selection of fabrics and have her help you create your next dream piece. As an owner of a Janome top of the line embroidery machine she can teach you what you need to know about creating beautiful embroidery designs on your next quilt or project. Service Technicians Hector and Tammy

Hector Symes has been actively involved in the sewing machine industry since 1986 and has since built a very large client base of satisfied sewers and has helped brighten the atmosphere at our store with his charming personality and knowledge of sewing machines.

Hector started his career as a sewing machine salesman and technician with Singer in 1986, in Quesnel, BC.  He moved to the Okanagan in 1988, where he met his wife Tammy, and both of them worked together in sales, service and teaching Pfaff sewing machines.  In 1996 they opened up The Okanagan’s Finest Sewing Center, in Fanny’s fabrics and became the Pfaff dealers in the Okanagan.

 Hector and Tammy were married in 1996 and have a wonderful daughter, Kyla.  Kyla has recently graduated and is pursuing education in the nursing field.  After a several years of schooling and accounting jobs, Tammy has now joined Hector again in the servicing of all makes of sewing machines.  Hector and Tammy intend to remain in this field of work for many more years to come.
